Pier 5 is a new, unique concept coming soon to the historic Pier 5, positioned in the heart of Bayside Marketplace. The site was once home to South Florida’s most famous fishing pier, which stood at what is now the Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. Guests can expect deck games such as corn hole, shuffleboard or life-sized Jenga, entertainment space including live music, and a shaded bar area with breathtaking views.
In addition to its sister venues The Wharf Miami and The Wharf Fort Lauderdale, Pier 5 adds another option for visitors interested in outdoor dining experiences with waterfront views across Biscayne Bay at affordable prices. The bar will take a lot of inspiration from the site’s previous life as a fishing pier, seafood market, and tourist attraction popular during the ‘40s and ‘50s.

It’s not known when exactly Pier 5 will open. It will be sometime this winter, but there are no firm dates yet. And while the food hall is slated to be open seven days a week from morning to evening, it should be noted that many of the restaurants have confirmed operating hours beyond those hours.
