The week surrounding Art Basel Miami Beach is Miami Art Week (or MAMW), a week-long series of events at museums, galleries, and other venues across the city’s neighborhoods, filled with activities like panel discussions on art history or how to start an arts program at your school. Galleries abound in areas including the Miami Design District, Allapattah, Little Haiti, Downtown Miami, and South Beach.
