Every year, Universal Studios Florida in Orlando takes the fun and excitement of Mardi Gras and gives it a family-friendly twist. In 2020, Universal Studios will celebrate its 25th year of Mardi Gras celebrations, which run every night from February 1 through April 2.
Find the perfect spot along Main Street for the nightly parade, where you’ll be wowed by the street performers, dancers, bright costumes, incredible parade floats and of course, tons of beads for everyone to sport. The theme this year is “Treasures of the Deep” with floats featuring motifs from Atlantis, Creatures of the Deep and Shipwreck Island. If you have younger kids in your group, head over to the Brown Derby and the Little Jester’s Parade Viewing area.
Keep your tummy happy too with can’t-miss Cajun food. The vendors around Main Street transform into the French Quarter Courtyard to serve up jambalaya, beignets and more. On concert nights, chow down at a delicious crawfish boil. Purchase the Mardi Gras Tasting Lanyard to get a sampling of the all the Cajun goodness, plus alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The Mardi Gras Feast & Floats Dessert Party is a great way to experience it all. This party takes place an hour before parade time and includes desserts, sparkling wine, cider and prime seats for the parade.
Get your toes tapping along with the authentic New Orleans bands performing every night. On select nights, some of the hottest musical acts take the Music Plaza stage for free performances. Guests are treated to artists from every genre, from pop to country, rock to R&B. Here’s who you’ll see in 2020:

All the fun is included with your regular admission pass or Annual Pass. While Seasonal Passholders are blocked out of the park the entire day on special concert days, they can attend the party on other select nights.
