Always at the forefront of customer service and experience, Walt Disney World® Resort is appealing to vegan guests with an expanded food menu. All of the parks in the Walt Disney World® Resort will offer vegan dishes, with each dining location having at least one vegan item on its menu. That means over 400 dishes available to those following a plant-based lifestyle.
The vegan meals include some favorites that have been part of the dining options for awhile, as well as some new dishes. Here are some of the highlights:
Shiriki Noodle Salad: Offered at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom®, this salad mixes noodles, edamame, mushrooms, green mango and cucumber. The beautiful salad looks as good as it tastes too, with a sweet chili sauce finishing it off.
Felucian Garden Spread: While you check out the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, stop by Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo to fuel up. The Felucian Garden Spread is vegan, made with kefta, herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish and a pita.
Vegan Meatloaf: Enjoy a meatloaf without the meat at Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom®. Their Vegan Meatloaf is made from Impossible meat and topped with a mushroom gravy. Sides include mashed potatoes and root vegetables.
Vegan Hot Dog: Casey’s Corner at Magic Kingdom® Park has added a plant-based slaw dog with Spicy Italian Beyond Sausage and pickled slaw. The dog also comes with a BBQ aioli and peppers, served on a potato bun. The slaw dog meal includes french fries or apple slices.
Vegan Brat: Another theme park favorite, the brat gets a vegan makeover at Friar’s Nook at Magic Kingdom® Park. The Beyond Sausage brat is boiled in beer and served on a vegan bun. Don’t miss the tater tots offered as the side.
Garden Grill Vegan Loaf: This “meat” loaf from the Garden Grill at Epcot® is made from rice and beans and topped with a vegan cream sauce. The dish includes plenty of sides like rice, green beans, corn, fries, salad and rolls with vegan butter.
Totchos: Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® serves up Totchos, a vegan twist on nachos. The dish comes with vegan chili and cheese and to keep it fully vegan, omit the sour cream.
Other great options include:
- Vegan Korma with Gardein Meatless Chik’n (Sunshine Seasons at Epcot®)
- Gardein Vegan Fish and Chips (Rose and Crown at Epcot®)
- Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl with Charred Onion Chimichurri (Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park)
