This prestigious recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to advocacy within the vacation rental industry, and we couldn’t be prouder.
At last year’s VRMA International Conference in Orlando, we organized the Casiola Vacation Homes Beach Party, an event that not only brought together over 1,000 incredible people but also made a significant impact. Together, we raised over $20,000 for the Florida Professional Vacation Rental Coalition (FPVRC) to support advocacy efforts in our industry. Beyond the funds, the event raised awareness about the importance of standing up for vacation rentals and protecting our livelihoods.
Earlier this year, we saw the fruits of these efforts when the FPVRC, with the support of our amazing partners, successfully convinced Florida Governor DeSantis to veto a harmful bill that would have imposed severe restrictions on vacation rentals in Florida. This victory was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we unite as a community to protect our industry and our rights.
