The SeaWorld® Halloween Spooktacular event returns with a special treat for guests of all ages! What exactly is SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular?

The SeaWorld® Halloween Spooktacular is a family-friendly daytime Halloween-themed celebration at the park, featuring a trick-or-treat trail and special entertainment. The Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission to SeaWorld® Orlando and will run select days starting on Friday, September 18, and host its final day on Sunday, October 31. Through these weeks, it will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. During the event, SeaWorld® Orlando is transformed into a spooky world of frightening fun.

What special activities are available during the Halloween Spooktacular?

Enjoy all of the family fun that Halloween has to offer. Explore Key West and the area around Dolphin Theater for some tasty treats. At Sesame Street Land, you can make new furry friends. All of this is taking place at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular:

• Trick-or-Treat Trail: After exploring the park, spend some time on the Trick-or-Treat Trail. It’s a great way for kids to collect candy, and it also features other Halloween activities like face painting and games.

• Halloween Dance Party: Get your groove on with this family dance party featuring live music from some of your favorite characters!

• Meet a Mermaid: Your little one will love meeting one of the mermaids up close as they take pictures and share stories about life under the sea with them.

• Pumpkin Garden: Enjoy decorating pumpkins during this festive activity. Costumes are encouraged but not required! The Pumpkin Garden opens at 4 pm, the last entry starts at 6 pm, and closes promptly at 7 pm.

• Halloween Happenings at Sesame Street Land: Live shows featuring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Grover and Ernie will take place throughout the day.

How much does the Halloween Spooktacular cost?

Halloween Spooktacular event is bundled with park admission to SeaWorld®Orlando, you cannot attend the event without a daily ticket. To participate in the trick-or-treat trail, you must use a SeaWorld® trick-or-treat reusable bag. So if your little ones are looking to pick up a few treats this Halloween, don’t miss out on the Trick-or-Treat Trail! Starting at the entrance of Shamu Stadium, this fun experience is available on select days. In addition to receiving a free trick-or-treat bag (available for kids 12 and under), children can also receive candy, stickers, and temporary tattoos.

The SeaWorld® Halloween Spooktacular is a fun-filled, not too spooky event. You can enjoy the magic of Halloween without all the scary stuff! If you need some more Haunts and Thrills, you don’t have to wait until October 31st. Howl-O-Scream as the first adult-focused event of SeaWorld® Orlando, it runs select nights from Sept. 9 – Oct. 31, 2022. Howl-O-Scream opens earlier than other theme parks because of its nighttime rides and haunted houses.

SeaWorld® is nominated for the 2022 Best Theme Park Halloween Event by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Award. Howl-O-Scream is an after hours, separately ticketed event that will take place on select nights. It is not included with park admission and requires a separate ticket purchase to attend this event at SeaWorld® Orlando!
