The Grotto is a rock-cut shrine near Seroe Preto, right off the main route to San Nicolas. A 700-kilogram statue of the Virgin Mary was brought into place in the grotto. Every year on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (February 11), a procession departs from the St. Theresita church in San Nicolas for the grotto, where a mass is held.
