Where History, Scenery, and Fun Collide

Those travelers who are looking to enjoy the southwestern coast of Aruba during their stay will love every moment spent in a Casiola Aruba rental that keeps them within reach of Savaneta. This historical region was the acting capital of the island of Aruba up until 1797. Today, it still maintains a rustic charm and laid-back vibe that’s hard to top! The focus of time enjoyed in Savaneta tends to revolve around access to the sea, where fishing and sailing are popular activities for visitors and locals alike. In the northern part of Savaneta, Mangel Halto hosts a beautiful beach that is accessed through a collection of dense mangrove trees. The beach boasts aquamarine waters at its shoreline and a unique tranquility thanks to barrier reefs further out in the water. Visitors with a passion for diving adventures may be particularly drawn to this South Island destination. Those who book our South Island Aruba rental properties near Savaneta will also have time to explore Savaneta Beach itself! This secluded stretch of shoreline is a great place to snorkel, sunbathe, and take in the view uninterrupted. Beyond the beaches, this region also hosts the Roly Bisslick Olympic Pool Complex as well as the Marine Barracks Savaneta, which is home to the Royal Netherlands Navy, Coastguard, and Marine Corps alike.
