5 Things to see in Orlando in 2023

What's going on in Orlando?
Orlando, Florida is a city that never sleeps. In fact, it’s constantly reinventing itself and finding new ways to entertain its visitors with exciting attractions. It’s an incredible place to visit with many activities and there are a lot of new things to see in Orlando in 2023. If you’re looking for a new Casiola Orlando vacation this year, here are five new attractions that are coming to the theme parks.

1. Tron Lightcycle Power Run

tron

The Tron Lightcycle Power Run is a roller coaster in the Tomorrowland section of Disney’s Magic Kingdom®, scheduled to open in spring 2023, this attraction is inspired by the high-speed Lightcycle race from the 2010 Disney film TRON: Legacy. It will be one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world!

You’ll board a two-wheeled Lightcycle and power up as you prepare for an intense race through the Grid on a high-speed, high-intensity adventure. You’ll make your way through skyscrapers and power lines before being sent into warp drive right through Sark’s base, but don’t get distracted! Stay focused or else you might lose control of your vehicle!

2. Moana: Journey of Water

While the journey of water is a universal story, at Moana: Journey of Water you will explore and engage with water as it travels from the skies to the oceans and back again. The all-ages attraction will be part of World Nature, one of three new sections being added to EPCOT® as part of our multi-year transformation. This section is all about understanding and preserving the beauty, awe and balance of the natural world. You’ll learn about how people are working together to protect lakes, rivers and oceans around the globe.

3. Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast

Coming to Universal Studios Florida in summer 2023. The former Shrek 4-D building will be transformed into a criminal convention where you’ll compete against other minion hopefuls to prove that you have what it takes to become the newest member of The Vicious 6. While there, you’ll see all your favorite supervillains and experience everything from themed rides and photo ops to interactive experiences like “hacking” brainwashing devices into your mind with your friends! You won’t be boarding a ride vehicle to do it!

4. Pipeline: The Surf Coaster

The ride is designed to offer guests an immersive experience that brings them closer to nature while providing them with an exhilarating thrill ride on one of the park’s most popular attractions.
