Halloween Horror Nights 2022 is celebrating its 31st year scaring Universal guests and will be held on select nights from September 23 – October 31, 2022. Each evening, guests can enter more than 10 themed haunted houses and scare zones featuring creepy creatures and gruesome scenes. The event typically lasts from 6:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. or 2 a.m., so plan accordingly if you want to catch all of the thrills!
Exhilarating rides & attractions
Some of the park’s most exhilarating rides and attractions, which will be open throughout the event, will make you scream in a completely different way. Because haunted houses are so popular, all of the daytime rides have short lines. Transformers, Harry Potter, and Fast & Furious all close early on most evenings. During Halloween Horror Nights, Universal™ will also keep Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts operating.
Thrills & chills
There will be a number of Haunted Houses this year, each inspired by a different horror film or theme. For example, The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare is based on the singer’s album ‘After Dark,’ while “Horrors of Blumhouse” was inspired by the horror-thriller film franchise made by Jason Blum and Robert Rodriguez. You’ll also see haunted houses based on Universal Studios’ classic monster characters like Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, and Wolfman; as well as those from popular movies like “Halloween” and “Stranger Things”.
