Father's Day in Orlando

6 marvelous activities for father’s day in Orlando

What's going on in Orlando?
Father’s Day approaches on June 19, 2022, and let’s be honest: Dads may be difficult to buy for. Your father will not really wear a tie. He does not want any more power tools. So, what can you do to celebrate him? Why not plan a special getaway to celebrate father’s day in Orlando this year? No destination equals Orlando when it comes to treating dads like superheroes. Our Casiola vacation homes have their own gaming rooms, as well as private pools, patios, and barbecues for him to put those less expected gifts to the test…

1. Dad’s outdoor adventures

Nothing gets some fathers’ engines going like running motors. When you combine one of those bad boys with a tough airboat, you have a mix of actions and fun that most fathers will find challenging to refuse. Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Rides, and Wild Florida are among the top Orlando-area airboat operators. (There is also a Gator Park and a drive-thru Safari Park at the latter.)

2. Hit the green

Dad won’t be short of golfing opportunities while in Orlando. Sure, it’s scorching out there, but if you’re prepared to put up with it, you’ll be rewarded with the greatest greens. The Oak Trail at Walt Disney World® was created with families in mind, including a 9-hole, all-walking course. $35, plus reductions for yearly pass holders and Florida residents. Are you in the Lake Nona area? Take Dad to Drive Shack for a wonderful day of dining, golfing, and gaming. If you’re closer to I-Drive, take the whole family to TopGolf for a special Father’s Day game play.

3. Theme Parks thrills

Orlando’s world-famous theme parks offer a wide array of activities and events geared toward fathers. Universal’s Islands of Adventure‘s newest thrill coaster, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, challenges Dad to brave the hunt. Alternatively, take Daddy to see the brand-new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT®. Dad will also love riding some of the world’s most thrilling roller coasters, including the all-new Ice Breaker, and getting up close and personal with aquatic marvels at SeaWorld® Orlando.

4. Get the grill going

Some fathers may choose to celebrate Father’s Day in a traditional fashion by firing up the grill. Seize the opportunity to learn from dad, or simply cheer him on as he serves plate after plate of delicious burgers, grilled vegetables, and fresh seafood. Casiola vacation homes are equipped with full kitchens and many also have grills on their patios, making it simple to throw a Father’s Day cookout.

5. Visit Kennedy Space Center

This is one of our most original ideas for Father’s Day in Orlando. If Dad is passionate about space, he will like the adventures available at Kennedy Space Center. You may spend a whole day or more at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex exploring one of the world’s greatest collections of spacecraft, vehicles, and artifacts.
