The new “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular,” which replaces Happy HalloWishes, is the first update to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This fireworks display features projections, pyro, and the host, Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Each evening, fireworks are only displayed once.

“Jack has here to share a not-so-scary story about what may happen on Halloween night.” Zero, Jack’s ghost dog, then takes everyone on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four pals — Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy – are lured inside a spooky haunted mansion. Their trip takes them from one floor of the mansion to the next, where they encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing spirits, including several malicious Disney villains.”

Trick-or-treating will, of course, be free for all guests to enjoy. According to Disney, guests will be able to “roam the trick-or-treat trails” to collect various sweet treats. M&M’s, SKITTLES, SNICKERS.

If you have a food allergy, approach a Cast Member and request a teal-colored bag. Those trick-or-treating with teal bags will receive a teal token at the treat stations, according to Disney. These may then be redeemed for special treats at the Allergy-Friendly Centers.

Come watch your favorite characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes! The floats include both Disney villains and your favorite Disney characters. The parade starts with the Headless Horseman, who trots slowly across the parade path. Dr. Facilier, Captain Barbosa, Oogie Boogie, the three hyenas from The Lion King – Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed – as well as the three Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mansion – appear in Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. The Haunted Mansion float is fantastic! Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz carry in the sweets in the grand finale. This is a must-see parade!

The Ghost Bride, who mingles with the ever-present spooks and spirits, is featured in the Haunted Mansion section of the parade. The parade also has a Tomorrowland addition that includes The Incredibles and popular designer Edna Mode, followed by Buzz Lightyear and alien explorers on a planetary playset float.

The times are 9:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. (begins in Frontierland)

The Sanderson Sisters (Winifred, Mary, and Sarah) from the Disney film Hocus Pocus descend to the mortal world for one night each Halloween season. The three sisters gain control of the Magic Kingdom in order to hold the “biggest, nasty Halloween party this side of the graveyard.” Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, Maleficent, and other iconic Disney villains assist the sisters in cooking up the Hocus Pocus Party Potion, which casts a spell on all partygoers. The show will also include dancers, projections, and other unique effects.
