1. Can I bring a backpack to Universal Studios™ and Islands of Adventure™?

You are welcome to do so as long as you do not bring any prohibited items with you. It is a great way to keep all of your belongings together. Universal will let you bring one but bear in mind that it will be searched at the security checkpoint, so don’t try to conceal anything prohibited. It’s also possible to store it in a locker supplied by Universal Studios™.

Acceptable items:

  • Bottled water
  • Small snacks that do not require heating
  • Any food required for medical purposes and medically indicated nutritional supplements
  • Food required for special dietary needs
  • Baby food/baby formula
  • Soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5″ wide x 6″ high x 6″ deep

Prohibited items:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Picnic lunches
  • Food that requires heating or refrigeration
  • Glass containers
  • Hard-sided coolers

You are not permitted to carry your bag or any loose items onto the majority of Universal’s thrill rides. You may use the free lockers located in front of the rides to store your belongings.

3. What should I wear at Islands of Adventure™ or Universal Studios™?

You always want to pack comfortable items such as shorts, leggings, a t-shirt, a hat, and sunglasses are all terrific selections. Remember that you’ll be doing a lot of walking, so think about bringing comfy shoes to avoid problems like blisters, muscular soreness, and foot pain. Florida’s humidity is more than most people assume. As a consequence, a plain t-shirt is maybe a little overdone. You may need to carry a variety of lightweight outfits to combat the heat and humidity. Because of the extreme heat, if you plan on visiting Universal Orlando™ between June and late September, you will almost surely need to change your shirt.

4. What should I bring to Universal Orlando™ in summertime?

Make sure you’re dressed for the heat and humidity if it’s summer. The weather in Florida may be very hot. Wear ball caps to keep the sun out of your family’s eyes and protect their heads from sunburn. You are allowed to carry up to 2 liters of bottled water into Universal Studios™. Make sure to take advantage of this to keep your family hydrated while avoiding the high water rates.

  • Water
  • Lightweight clothing
  • Water Mist Fan
  • Cooling Towel
  • A Hat and sunglasses
  • Travel size deodorant

5. Going to Universal Studios™ with kids, what to pack?

If you’re visiting Universal Studios™ with children, you’ll want to keep in mind their needs. A stroller is always useful because it can hold the majority of your belongings as you walk. At Universal Studios™, you’ll be walking a lot, and your small children won’t be able to keep up. By the end of the day, their feet will be hurting, and dad will have to carry them the rest of the park. You’ll thank us at the end of the day if you bring the stroller.

The weather in Florida may be changeable. It’s bright one minute and then a rainstorm appears out of nowhere the next. Even if the forecast predicts a bright day, bring a rain poncho along just in case.

You’ll need the following items:

  • A change of clothing
  • Rain ponchos
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Hats
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses

You could find yourself washing your laundry if you’re staying in a luxurious Casiola vacation home. As a result, you should add some laundry soap and bags to your shopping list.
