5 Most Beautiful Miami Beaches

What's going on in Miami?
Miami is known for its beautiful beaches, but not everyone is aware of the most beautiful ones. The city has many different beaches, each of which offers something different to visitors. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite Miami Beaches so you can plan your trip accordingly! While in Miami, live like a local by staying in a private Casiola vacation rental after a day at the beach.

1. Crandon Park Beach

CRANDON BEACH PARK

Crandon Park Beach is a beautiful Miami Beach. It has a sandbar that you can walk out to and it is a great place to swim and sunbathe. This beautiful beach is located on Key Biscayne, which makes it easy to get to from anywhere in the Miami area. You can rent kiteboarding, stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking at this beach as well as trails across a mangrove boardwalk to a fossilized coral reef back on the beach there are picnic tables, cabanas, and volleyball nets available for use by visitors of Crandon Park Beach. You can also find a marina, golf course, and tennis center within the park.

2. South Beach

SOUTH BEACH

South Beach is a renowned beach in Miami Beach. It is known for its nightlife and is the most popular area of Miami Beach. It runs from the southern tip of the island to 23rd Street. The legendary stretch of beach offers some of the best sunbathing opportunities in South Florida, as well as being home to some of the world’s most famous hotels. South Pointe Park on Ocean Drive features playground equipment and picnic tables perfect for relaxing after a long day at work or play!

3. Matheson Hammock Park

MATHESON HAMMOCK PARK

Matheson Hammock Park, located just south of Miami’s Coral Gables, is a beautiful beach you shouldn’t miss. The park was opened in 1930 as a gift to the county from conservationist William J. Matheson “to preserve the wild and natural beauty” of Miami. The beach is popular among locals who swim in its tranquil, protected waters or hike along trails that snake through mangroves and open forests. It’s also popular with tourists who rent kayaks or canoes and paddle around the atoll pool, a man-made lagoon set in the middle of an otherwise sandy beach, and snorkel among schools of colorful fish.

4. Sunny Isles Beach

SUNNY ISLE BEACH

Sunny Isles Beach is a great place to spend the day. It’s just one of many beautiful Miami beaches in South Florida, but it’s one of our favorites due to its cleanliness and uncrowded two-mile stretch of sand. If you’re looking for an alternative to Miami Beach, this is it. The beach has volleyball nets where locals gather every weekend during spring and summer. There are also park facilities that include picnic tables and playgrounds for families with children who want more than just sunbathing at the beach, however, if you really want some alone time with your loved ones then we recommend renting out a cabana near one of these facilities instead!

5. Surfside

SURFSIDE

This pristine stretch of beach attracts families and anyone looking for a tranquil day in the sun. Located between North Beach and Bal Harbour, this quaint area is known as Miami’s Uptown Beach Town. The beach to the east has white sand dunes that make for an idyllic walk, run, or bike ride. You’ll also find paddle boarders and kite surfers zipping across the waves! Pack a picnic lunch and beach blanket for an idyllic day out at Surfside!
